Gave it to God.

Ok, so I didn't want to blog everyday about injecting myself, so I figured I would wait until I had something to blog about.. If you see the schedule below, I was right on track up until this past Wednesday December 5th.

Went in to the office for my follicle monitoring and blood work, only to find that the 3 follicles we saw on Monday, were the same ones on Wednesday. Nothing new, nothing exciting and actually I was a disaster. We decided (dr. Miller, Mario and I) to hold off  on the retrieval because with only one follicle measuring 18mm and the other two not even growing, we didn't want to risk the one follicle not fertilizing. I was so upset. All the shots, all the bruising on my body, all the sacrificing and all the excitement, and NO follicles. My body didn't respond well to the Menopur and the Gonal F. I was able to hold back the tears in Dr. Miller's office, but as soon as one foot was out the door, my tears gushed out of my eyes. I called Mario and was in complete hysterics. I guess I was so excited about the medication doing its thing and thinking the whole time that "of course, it will work", why wouldn't it? UGH!

I had an acupuncture session schedule for that afternoon and almost canceled, but after talking to Mario, he told me to go, that it just might make me feel better. I went. It did. At the end, it was hard to lie there with intention, but I tried my hardest.

So Thursday I had my last cry, and when reminded from a friend that ME of all people should KNOW exactly what to do right now (GIVE IT TO GOD), I thought to myself: "Yep, The big man upstairs can handle this". I cupped my hands together, looked up and pushed my hands up to him. I smiled and said :"thank you:. The Big man upstairs will get me through this, and with a positive and happy cleansed mind and soul, everything will workout just the way God intends for it to.
